Have you ever read A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning? If you haven't, you really should! Here's why: The Baudlaire children are at the beach one day when they find out their parents just died. They get passed from one family member who they've never met to another one. My favorite character is Violet. She is 14 years old and loves making inventions. She is also very mature like the rest of her siblings. If you like happy stories, go read another book because, let me tell you, this is not a happy book. To find out what happens in the three lives of the Baudlaire children, read A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning including the rest of the series. This is a good book for 4th grade through 6th grade. I recommend this book for you because there is a lot of suspense. But, let me warn you. If you like books with happy endings, you don't want to read this book!

I'm going to tell you about an amazing Magic Tree House book called Sunset of the Saber Tooth. I really think you should read this book because it's a really cool, interesting, amazing, and fun book to read. Annie is always in a rush. My favorite parts are when the kids end up in a cold place in their bathing suits, and I also like when Annie names the elephants Lulu because Jack always says the name in a crazy, or weird way. That's why I like that part. The last two parts that I like and that you might like is when they end up in a cave and Annie finds and steps on bones, and when they run into the saber tooth. I really think this book is good for kids seven and up. So if you really want to know more of what happens then I think you should really read this book.

Do you like Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid? Well, if you do, you should read his new book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth! I liked this book because it was really funny and it looked like you are reading out of someone's actual diary or journal! It was really cool! I enjoyed the part when Greg gets an egg from Nurse Powell and he can't break it. I also liked the part when Greg's older brother Rodrick cooks the ham with the plastic covering on it. If you want to find out what happens to the egg then you should read this book! I recommend this book to people who like really funny cartoon books and people 3rd grade and up.

Beezus and Ramona

Do you like a book that's funny? This book is really funny! In the book Beezus and Ramona it tells about how two sisters learn to get along. I wouldn't want Ramona as a little sister because she does things she's probably not supposed to be doing, and she can kind of be a brat at times when she doesn't get what she wants. If you like a book that's magnificent, then you should read this book. My favorite part was when Ramona locked Henry's dog in the bathroom and the lock was on the inside and the window is locked. How did they get Henry's dog out of the bathroom? You'll have to read the book to find out. Also another part that was my favorite was when Henry and Beezus are playing checkers and Ramona rides up on her tricycle and says she wants to play, but they won't let her play. So Ramona tips the checker game over, and she gets sent to her room. Do you think she gets to come out of her room? Read the book to find out! I recommend this book to kids in grades 2nd-5th. People who like a book with lots of action would absolutely love this book and would read it over and over again!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth

Do you like funny books? If you do this is the book for you! It is about a boy named Greg and his hard, weird life. It's also about Manny (the youngest), Rodrick (the oldest), and mom and dad. My favorite part is when Greg and his grandma are talking and she said all kinds of weird things like "Hemorrhoids" and "Shingles." After that she started to take her clothes off, and Greg got away before his grandma could take anymore clothes off. Another good part is when Greg is given an assignment to treat an egg like a baby. The day he had to return it he saw his mom scramble the egg, and when he got to school he said to the teacher, "Do I at least get partial credit?" If you want to find out more, read the book. I would recommend this book for 4th graders and up.

Do you like books that make you want to read more? If you do, this is the book for you! The main character is Annmarie. She is tall, and she loves to run. Ellen is short, and she likes to act. Also, there's Annmarie's mother, father, and her little sister, Kirsti. The book is mainly about the German soldiers. They were taking over Denmark almost. On every corner of the street there was a German soldier. They were taking over Denmark and sending the Jewish people away. Annmarie's best friend Ellen is Jewish. So she moved in with Annmarie's family. Do you think Ellen and her family are going to get taken by the German soldiers? Read the book to find out. I like this book because it has an afterward. I can't pick a favorite part. The whole book was so good. I'd recommend this book to you because it's sad but has a happy ending.

Do you like stories that make you pop our of your chair in amazement? Well then, read this hilarious book! In this book it is funny when Sharon tries to make freckles appear. Sharon made up a secret recipe for freckles. Andrew wanted freckles for years. In order for Andrew to get the freckle juice, Sharon wanted money from Andrew. What will Andrew do? I don't know. You'll just have to find out for yourself. Another funny event in the story is when Andrew falls out of his chair! Why does he fall out? Is it a special note he reads? What kind of note is it? I recommend this book for fourth grade and up. Just because people are older doesn't mean they can't enjoy a great kid book.

Do you like adventures? If you do, this book is for you! Little House on the Prairie is an amazing book! I think this book is amazing because it pulls you in. I also think this is an amazing book because it is a real story of how the author, Laura Ingalls Wilder, grew up. I recommend this book for you if you being pulled through books and if you love to read! In Little House on the Prairie, Pa is about to get eaten! Will Pa survive? Horse thieves are on the loose! Will the horses be there in the morning? You should really read this awesome, exciting, and amazing book to find out what happens! Bunny, a horse is born, and bunny might not survive! My favorite part is when the chimney is on fire! You should read this book to find out if the house is saved. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves reading. I would also recommend this book for anyone who is in 4th through 7th grade! You should really read Little House on the Prairie! Why not go get it off the shelf now!

Cam Jansen and the Dinosaur Bones

Do you like a good mystery? If you do, I think this is the book for you. The name of it is Cam Jansen and the Dinosaur Bones. The author is David A. Adler. A bone was stolen from the museum by someone, and Cam Jansen had to go and find the bone. The interesting part in the beginning of the story is when the museum keeper said there are no cameras allowed in the museum. Also, I liked it when they find out who took the bones. Another thing is when Cam said "click." Also I liked when the milkman was in his truck and he was trying to follow Cam and Eric. This was very interesting book for me to read. Who would really want to steal a bone? If you ever want to find out how the bone was taken you will have to read the book. Another thing is if you want to find out why he stole the bones you also have to read the book too. I hope that you like this book as much as I did. I think this book is a fantastic book to read, so you might want to go get this book because you might like it too. This book is probably for about for grades second through fourth. I really hope you like this book.
